Obituary of Geraldine Joslin
Geraldine R. “Gerrie” “Babe” (Nee-Walsh) Joslin, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 13, 2009. The beloved wife of Rodrick A. Joslin, she was 47 years old. Mrs. Joslin was born in Boston. She was raised and educated in Charlestown and Somerville. She was the daughter of the late Robert H. & Geraldine H. Walsh. She had resided in Woburn for the past 25 years.
Mrs. Joslin would have become a first time grandmother on October 15, 2009 with the much anticipated birth of her grandson, Joseph S. Constantino, II. She was an avid Red Sox Fan and a staunch supporter of the Woburn High School Football Team. She loved board games of any kind and always looked forward to family game night as well as spending time with her friends. She will be missed by all who knew her – forever.
Mrs. Joslin was the beloved wife of Rodrick “Rick”. She was the loving mother of Carter Joslin of Woburn and Cortney Walsh of Wilmington. She was the stepmother of Rick Joslin of Acton, Megan of Merrimack, NH and Donna Joslin of Woburn. Loving grandmother of Joseph S. Constantino, II, who was born on Oct. 15, 2009. She was the sister of Kathleen M. Fischer of Londonderry, NH, Paula A.Hyde of Quincy, Michael A. Eskholme of Revere and the late Robert H. Walsh, II. Daughter-in-law of Marion Carter of ME & Alan Joslin of NY. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and close friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St., Woburn on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours omitted. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Funeral under the direction of the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, BURLINGTON.
