Helen, Diane, Michael. & Barbara,
I have very fond memories of spending many childhood days at the Consolazio household. Almost 50 years later I still remember George taught me chalk was made from calcium carbonate! Helen would make my favorite Mapleleaf hot dogs on a Saturday night. Diane, Michael and Barbara were all babysitters for me at one time or another.
I grew up and didn't marry 'a nice Italian boy' like Helen encouraged me to, but found 'a nice Irish one' instead. Everyone should have been as lucky as we were to have the Consolazio family as our neighbors, friends and family.
With love and deepest sympathy.

Aunt Helen, Diane, Michael ,Barbara and Families,
We are so sorry for the loss of Uncle George. He was a wonderful man whom we greatly admired. Every conversation with Uncle George was interesting and educational. He was so well read. He had his opinions, but always let you know he respected yours. It was a pleasure to be in his company. He was a terrific friend and caregiver to my parents and for that I will always be grateful. It is with deepest regrets that Anne and I cannot be there to show our respects in person. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Love Phil and Anne

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting George several months ago when I first started with Mike's company.
I only met George once and had maybe a 1 minute conversation with him, however I was amazed when Mike told me he was 92 years old!! George had the mind and awareness of a 40 year old - on top of this, George was such a gentleman!
I wish I had more interactions with him - like previously noted he was a true gentleman!
I just want to pass on my condolensces from myself and the rest of the Needham family to Mike and the rest of the Consolazio family..

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this extremely dificult moment. Although it is always difficult to say a final goodbye to a loved one, in time you will be able to celebrate the life of one who meant so much, and did so much, for his country, his community and his family. He will be greatly missed, but he does live on in the heart and minds of his family. If there is any way in which we can be of assistance during this painful trial, please let us know.

It is with deepest sympathy that we learn of the passing of George...George quickly became a member of our family...His vast knowledge of not only Italian history and current events but world affairs was always an inspiration and very informative...
George's personality and quick wit made him very popular and interesting...George always had something interesting to add to a converstaion...His timing was always a plus when he interjected his knowledge on the subject...
I personally learned a lot from George...He was a fine example of a man, husband, father and friend...An example that anyone would be proud to imitate...
As a Dante(Dante Aleghiere Pharmaceutical Association) we welcomed George into our group and are proud to call him a true Dante...
We will all miss George and his conversations, quick wit and contagious smile...
Helen our deepest sympathy, may your long happy memories with George be your guiding light now and forever...
George rest in peace and please look down from above and protect your family, friends and "Brother Dante's"...
Ciao mio fratello...Lou & Pattie
