Obituary of Henry Kuczynski

Henry A. Kuczynski, passed away at his home, on Sunday evening, January 17, 2010. The beloved husband of the late Madeline (LaFarge) he was 76 years old. Henry was born in Mineola, New York. He was raised and educated in Lawrence. Henry was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving his country in the United States Army and was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal and Marksman Medal. Henry had a successful career as a Pattern Maker working for the Boston Naval Shipyard in Charlestown for over 15 years. He was a talented carpenter and enjoyed woodworking. Henry was very interested in working with computers as well. Henry and his wife Madeline had a great love of music which was an important part of their life together. Together they were in a country and western band called “the Country Critters” back in the 1960’s. Henry was an avid Card and Chess player. He was an active member of the Woburn Senior Center where he taught Cribbage and enjoyed many friendships. Henry is the beloved husband of the late Madeline H. (LaFarge). He was the loving father of Henry Kuczynski & his wife Denise of Woburn and the late Sharon MacDonald and Jean Kuczynski. Henry is also survived by 7 grandchildren. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Friday, Jan. 22 at 9 a.m. Followed by Graveside Services at Woodbrook Cemetery, 100 Salem St., Woburn at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Thursday 5-8 p.m. Memorials in Henry’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
