Obituary of Marie Costanzo

Marie J. (Orlando) Costanzo a resident of Burlington for 52 years, passed away at the Lexington Health Care Center on Sunday morning, January 17, 2010. The wife of the late Michael A. Costanzo whom she was married to for 53 years and passed way in 2002, she was 84 years old. Marie was born and raised in Somerville. After graduation from High School she went on to attend Hairdressing School. She worked at two hair salons in Burlington Almy’s and Leone’s. Marie then went on to work at Computer Vision as an Electronics Inspector. Marie led a full and active life. Her late husband Michael was a member of the Burlington K of C and together they participated in many of the activities including the Minstrel shows. She played the piano and loved to dance. She enjoyed going on trips with her family and friends to such places as Foxwoods, Las Vegas, Florida, and New York City. She loved to go shopping and play Bingo and Dominos. Marie’s family was the most important part of her life and she treasured the time she spent with her son Frank, her daughter-in-law Toni and her two grandsons Michael and Christopher. Marie is the beloved wife of the late Michael A. Loving mother of Francis & his wife Toni of Burlington. Sister of Rita Pennellatore of FL, Veronica LaValley of Groton & the late Josephine and Phillip Orlando. Grandmother of Michael and Christopher of Burlington. Funeral Services were private.
