Obituary of Margaret McLaren
Margaret R. (Rogers) McLaren passed away at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading on Thursday morning, January 28, 2010. The wife of Raymond W. McLaren, she was 78 years old. Margaret was born and raised in Burlington. She was the daughter of the late Theodore and Catherine Rogers. Margaret was a 1949 graduate of Burlington High School. She lived in Burlington until 9 years ago when she moved to Methuen and then most recently Chelmsford. She worked as a Buyer for Pace Electronics for 10 years. However, her primary role was that of wife and mother. Margaret was very supportive of her husband Ray and all this activities and clubs that he was involved in throughout the town of Burlington. They enjoyed camping together and had traveled throughout the United States on a number of occasions. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be deeply missed by those whose lives she touched.
Margaret was the beloved wife of Raymond W. McLaren She was the loving mother of Stephen & his wife Janet of Pepperell, Colleen Gagnon & her husband Michael of Dracut and the late Timothy. Sister of James Rogers of Tewksbury, Kay Govoni of Burlington, Ginger LaVoie of Burlington, and Donald Rogers of N.C.. Grandmother of T. J. McLaren, Shannon, Tyler & Caleigh McLaren, Anthony, Melanie & David Giglio.
Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Monday, Feb. 1 at 11:30 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 12:30 p.m. Interment in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
