Obituary of Robert Ferreira

Robert W. Ferreira, Jr. a graduate of Burlington High School Class of 1973, passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center on Friday, February 12, 2010. He was 54 years old. Bob was born in Cambridge. He was raised and educated in Burlington. He attended ITT Technical Institution in Woburn and had a career in the Computer Industry working as an Electronics Technician. He enjoyed collecting antiques. He was a lover of music and when he was younger he played the organ. Bob loved listing to all types of music. He was a “movie buff” and enjoyed watching a good movie. Bob will be remembered as a loving son, brother & friend. Bob is the beloved son of Frances (Rose) of Burlington and the late Robert W. He was the loving brother of Al & his companion Betsey Hahn of Burlington. Bob was the nephew of Alice Rose of Woburn. Dear friend of Geri Mazzola Marion & her husband Armand Marion of Burlington. Godfather of Rebecca Marion. Uncle of Amanda & Christopher Marion. Also survived by many cousins. A visiting hour will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Wednesday, Feb. 17 from 11 – 12 Noon. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 12:30 p.m. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington. In lieu of flowers memorials in Bob’s name may be made to St. Margaret’s Building Fund, 111 Winn St., Burlington, MA 01803.
