Virginia “Ginny” Raynor, a resident of Waltham for 30 years, passed away at her home, after a long illness, on Wednesday morning, June 21, 2006. She was 62 years old. Ginny was born in Boston, the daughter of the late John and Doris Connors. She grew up in Brighton and was a graduate of Saint Columbkille’s High School. As well as being a homemaker, Ginny worked as a key punch operator in the Banking industry. Ginny’s interests include ceramics, crafts, and going to yard sales. She enjoyed camping and spent many seasons camping at Camp Eaton in York, Maine. She loved the ocean and the beach, especially York Beach and White Horse Beach in Plymouth. Ginny is the beloved wife of Henry G. Raynor. She is the loving mother of Henry Raynor, Jr. & his wife Denise of Plainville, Lisa & her husband Fred Shaw of Concord, and Kimberly Raynor of Fitzwilliam, NH & her fiancée Chris Persson. She is the sister of Thomas Connors of Quincy and Jack Connors of Clinton and the loving grandmother of Harrison Shaw. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Saturday, June 24 at 9:45 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 920 R Trapelo Road, Waltham at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment in Mt. Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
