Obituary of Ruth Jorgenson

Ruth F. (Kendall) Jorgenson, passed away at the Golden Living Center in Lexington on Monday evening, July 30, 2012. She was 96 years old. Ruth was born in Somerville. She was raised and educated in Winthrop. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Gladys Kendall. Ruth worked as a Quality Control Inspector at Sylvania for over 20 years. Ruth was a talented artist and enjoyed oil painting. She had a love for animals most especially dogs. Her children and grandchildren were very important to her. She had a very special bond with her two grandchildren Ethan and Kara and played an important role in their lives as they grew up to become young adults. Ruth will be remembered as an outgoing and loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Carl W. Jorgenson. She was the devoted mother of Carole Jorgenson of Hyde Park, Kenneth C. Jorgenson & his wife Pamela of Burlington and the late Douglas Jorgenson. Sister of Henry Knopp of Burlington and the late Richard Kendall. Proud grandmother of Ethan Jorgenson of Bedford and Kara Jorgenson of Burlington. Mother-in-law of Susan Jorgenson of CA.
