Obituary of Angela Potter
Angela M. (Iannazzi) Potter, a resident of Burlington since 1987, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Monday morning, March 29, 2010. The wife of Kevin J. Potter, she was 57 years old.
Angela was born in Cambridge. She was raised in Lexington. Angela was a graduate of Lexington High School and went on to graduate with a Nursing Degree from Northeastern University. She enjoyed caring for patients at the Middlesex Hospital. Outside of work, she loved the ocean and working on crafts. She was a huge Boston Bruins fan. She was a loving wife and devoted mother. She supported her son’s activities and interests. She was a member of the Burlington High School Music Boosters. In her final years she suffered from Alzheimer’s Disease and her family lovingly took care of her.
Angela was the beloved wife of Kevin J. Potter of Burlington. She was the loving mother of Kevin J. Potter, Jr. and Alex S. Potter both of Burlington. She was the daughter of Paul and Natalie Iannazzi of Lexington. She was the sister of Valerie Bellino & her husband Paul of Billerica and Paula Sheehan & her husband Frank of Lexington. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and grand nieces.
Funeral Services will be held at the Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church, 25 Bigelow Ave., Watertown on Thursday, April 1 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn Street, BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Interment in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington. Memorials in Angela’s name may be made to Alzheimer’s Association Massachusetts Chapter, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
