David B. Lundgren, a devoted family man, passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center on Wednesday evening, April 7, 2010, he was 57 years old. David was born in Woburn. He was raised and educated in Burlington and was a 1971 graduate of Burlington High School. Shortly after his marriage to his wife Debra they moved to Billerica where they have lived for the past 36 years. David worked for many years in the Printing Industry. He was involved in Billerica Pop Warner both as a Coach and Equipment Manager. He also supported Pop Warner by helping work their Bingo’s. David was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed camping, ice fishing, as well as freshwater fishing. He was an active member of Billerica Elks Lodge 2071. He belonged to a Bowling League at the former Brunswick Lanes in Burlington. David was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Son that will be missed by those who loved him and whose lives he touched. David was the beloved husband of 38 years to Debra L. (Kelley). He was the loving Father of Kerri D’Antuono & her husband Paul of Billerica, David B. Jr., & his wife Aubrey of New Ipswich, NH and Jamee Canadas & her husband Anthony of Billerica. He was the devoted son of Barbara Lundgren of Burlington and the late William Lundgren, Jr. Brother of W. Lawrence & his wife Anita of Oregon and William III & his wife Colleen of Burlington. Grandfather of Nicholas D’Antuono, Matthew, Haylee & A. J. Canadas, Jonathan, Devin and Aidan Lundgren. Visiting hours at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn Street, Burlington (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Sunday, April 11 from 3 – 6:30 p.m. with Funeral Services immediately following at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials in David’s name may be made to BIDMC Transplant Institute, 110 Frances St., Boston, MA 02215.
