Some of the best times of my life were with my friend Jackie. There were 3 of us Jackie, Maggie and Myself we were inseperable. The food and laughs and good times I will never forget. We did so many things together. Jackie also loved Norman Rockwell so we went to Stockbridge for the weekend to the N.R. museum. She just loved everything, never had a bad bone in her body, that's why she was so loved. When she moved out of Falmouth she gave me alot of her Halloween decorations which I will always treasure and because of her Halloween is my favorite time to decorate (although I'm not as good as she was.) Her kids were the best, we always had good times when we got together.
I'm so sorry you had to lose such a great and loving Mother. She will be greatly missed. I'll have your laugh in my HEART.

Jackie lived here at my home in Wareham 100 yards from the sea for the last 11 years and often would tell people that Buzzards Bay is our backyard. She loved boating and would often camp overnight on the boat of whatever beach was near by.We have 2 dogs and 2 cats that were a great source of happiness to her with their affection for her and their sometimes crazy antics.Jackie like to grow plants many from seeds some from cuttings. She enjoyed her vegatable garden. One morning I was ready to go to work and I said Jackie do you know all your cloths are on inside out? She just smiled and said don't you remmember that I am painting today?Jackie loved to cook and made Awsume itialan sause, chicken soup, kale soup(kale from garden)chili, jag and several spice portugues dishes. She was a Red Sox fan and also Nascar,Mark Martin,Dale Jarret,Carl Edwards and Kevin Harvick some of her favorite drivers. Her favorite shows were Ellen,The View and NCIS.For music Pink Floyd wish you were here, The Eagles and John Lennon. For Thanksgiving she always wanted Stuffed Lobster and clam chowder.Jackie loved her family and was very proud of all her grandchildren and newest great grandson. We are all going to miss her.Goodbye Jackie.Love Rick and your pets

My condolences to Jackie’s children and grandchildren. I know she loved you all so much. My deepest sympathy to my friend and Jackie’s devoted love and companion, Rick Prouty. Please be at peace. You and Jackie shared so many years together at your home in Wareham. I know the first several years were filled with love and happiness, as you shared your love for the beach, clamming and camping, especially with Jackie’s grandchildren. Please be comforted by the good memories of Jackie, and by your wonderful care and devotion to her during the last several years as she struggled with so many health issues. You were there for her, and your Mom was there for her also. My God give you strength to hold on to the good memories. Be strong, my friend.

Although I have not seen Jackie in many years she always held a very special place in my heart. We had alot of fun when our kids were small and she made it easy to always laugh. I will never forget our trip to Nova Scotia. George and I have talked about that many times through the years.
To all of her children I send my sincere prayers and sympathy. She will always be remembered with great fondness.
I have some photographs that you are welcome to have...
Rest in Peace.

Jake holds a special place in my heart, always will.
We were close friends the last few years of high school and lost touch after graduation, sadly. We had a really special bond those last few years and she was the one who kept the "group" grounded, always smiling, never complaining, just loved life-no matter what circumstances she faced, and she faced some tough ones.
She always used to tell me how she loved the fact that I called her Jake , when everyone else called her Jackie.
My sincerest condolences to the family, you have lost a true treasure of a person.
God Speed Jake....
Love Deb Roberto
