Obituary of Susan Johnson

Susan M. Johnson, a lifelong resident of Burlington, passed away at home on Saturday evening, May 29, 2010. She was 56 years old. Susan was born in Woburn. She was one of 7 children born to the late Carl and Nora Johnson. Susan was raised and educated in Burlington. She attended Fitchburg State College. Susan loved the computer. She used e-mail to keep in touch with her family and keep everyone connected. She never missed a birthday or a special event in her family’s life. She would purchase gifts for her nieces and nephews on-line or through her favorite television show QVC. She enjoyed going to the Mall with her brother Herb. Susan’s family was the center of her life. She lovingly remembered. Susan was the beloved daughter of the late Carl and Nora Johnson. She was the loving sister of Josephine Gillis & her husband Charles of Burlington, Carlene Clements of Petersham & her late husband Bruce, Carl Johnson & his wife Barbara of NJ, Claire Giambattista of NJ & her late husband Albert, Herbert Johnson of Burlington, and Linda Bacon & her husband Ralph of NH. Also survived by 8 nieces, 8 nephews, 19 great nieces and 5 great nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington on Friday, June 4 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment will follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
