Kenneth, Michelle, Billy, and Christine-
I was saddened to hear of Bernice's passing. I am sorry for your loss.
It has been years since we worked together at NEN/DuPont and I think of her with fond memories. I remember taking her rings to clean in the ultrasonic baths in the lab. I would joke with her that there were meatballs in them. Another testimony to her love of cooking!
She was a great lady and will be missed.

Michelle, Billy & Christine, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. She was an awesome lady! I'll always remember all the fun we had when we were kids, the sleepovers, the vacations and just hanging out. It was always so obvious that the three of you meant everything to her. I'm so glad that Bernice was part of my life growing up. I'll never forget her, the three of you and the good times we had back then.

Bear in mind that although she has left us, and though we miss her, she will never truly be gone. I extend you my deepest condolences, and leave you with a quote from a scripture that has helped me through the deaths of those close to me.
"Weapons cannot harm the soul,
Fire cannot burn the soul,
Water cannot wet,
And air cannot dry up the soul.
The soul is indestructable,
The soul is incombustable,
Insoluble and unwitherable.
The soul is eternal, all pervasive,
Unmodifiable, immovable and primordial."
The Bhagavad-Gita, 2:23-24

Our heartfelt condolences go to Ken and to Bernice's family. We have enjoyed their friendship as neighbors over the years in Ogunquit.
Bernice was a lot of fun to be around. We enjoyed her culinary skills especially around the holidays along with her elaborate decorative skills.
Bernice's energy, enthusiasm, and sense of adventure will be sorely missed.
May She Rest in Peace.
