It is with great sadness I learn of you father's passing. He was for me the 'last of the Connors Clan'. I am daughter to the late Andrew Connors, who also went to Ireland at the bequest of Aunt Mare. Your father was most intrumental in my recent trip to Ireland with my daughter Jenna. He made sure the Murphy clan was there to meet us and welcome us 'home'. We talked at least once a year, and I was sure that he would always be there for the good story or two.
Both your Mom and Dad were present to most of the Connors's farewells. I remember bringing me 'Da' to their home on Alma Drive when Sister was visiting. We always had a good time, and in the Irish way, enjoyed the good laugh and song.
God bless him. May your memories comfort you, and know that your father was loved and will be remembered by many.

To Jim's family,
Jim and your mother were very much a part of our lives during the years when he and my father (Joe Coady)worked at the Ford plant, then at Burlington Lumber for a while. I remember many Saturday nights hearing loud laughter from your mother and mine (Martha Coady)in the parlor, during one of their many Saturday night get togethers. What happy memories. When my son and I didn't see him at Mass this past Sunday, I wondered if he was ok. You have my deepest sympathy, he was a wonderful friend and person.

To prove it is a small world, Jim and I were were related! My Uncle John Judge and Jim's sister Mary ("Sis") Judge were married. He was an excellent Uncle to my cousins and a wonderful brother to all his sisters. It was always a joke when we would run into each other and discuss how we were related. It also turned out that he was good friends with Steve's uncle Paul Arsenian. We met again at their family gathering and now he was connected to me on my side and to Steve on that side!
A wonderful, handsome gentleman. Not soon forgotten.

To the entire Connors family; I am deeply saddened to hear of Jimma's passing, but comforted to know that he spent his last days on his terms and with his family. Aside from my own father, Jim is the man I have most respected in my life and I will truly miss him.

To The Connors Family:
We met Jim when we moved to Burlington. He
was our mailman. Jim also introduced us to
Burlington politics. He was a great guy and
even after retiring when we saw him, he always wanted to know what was going on w/ our family. He will be missed.
He is in our prayers.

Dear Kathleen and Jim and family:
I was so saddened this morning when I read about Jim's passing. He was a great man and best friend of my father. My entire family loved Jim. I remember taking my father to Jims birthday party last October and how happy Jim looked visiting and talking to everyone. He looked so good with friends and family around him. He would visit my father weekly at the assisted living and I'm sure they did some remembering of all the campaigns they worked together through the years. I can still see Jim delivering mail to dads house.
It was sad last month at dads funeral seeing Jim how sad he was and how he just lost his friend. Jim will be remembered as a great and loving man to the entire Flaherty family.
With deepest regrets

Dear Kathy,Jim & Family,
I send to you all my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Your dad was loved by all who knew him. Although he is gone, he will forever be in our hearts.
Fourteen years ago he showed me what it was to be a kind, caring & compassionate neighbor. Three weeks ago he showed me what it was to have great strength, great courage and great faith in God. Two days ago, he told me the two most important things in life are, "To love and to be loved." My dear friend, Mr. Connors, you were greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
