How do you describe someone who always lead by example, put God and family first, put herself last, and was always so happy to see you, hear from you, do anything she could to make your life easier...two words which describe all of the above is OUR MOTHER!
She could rock the fussiest of her grandchildren to sleep when no one else could, not even the parent. She lived for her children and/or grandkids to come over to visit, and of course, eat! Her favorites were spahetti and american chop suey and she always had a home made pie or cake for dessert. And of course she always tried to get a card game going...and if she didn't win, she'd accuse you of cheating! Her laugh was contagious and when she smiled, her whole face smiled.
Because she was "vertically challenged" we were all passing her by the age of ten! I remember our Dad having to put blocks on to the gas pedal so she could drive the family station wagon and still need a pillow or phone book under her so she was just high enough to see over the steering wheel. But that didn't stop her from putting the fear of God into us!
She never ceased to show us her affection. You never walked through her door, either coming or going, without her hugging and kissing you as a hello or a goodbye. Also when on the phone with her she never ended without saying "I love you!"
Our Mother prayed the Rosary EVERY DAY, attended daily Mass and whenever something was wrong in our lives, she would tell us to get down on our knees and pray. Even when everything was good in our lives, she would say the same thing! I could fill up a book with all of our favorite memories of our wonderful mother and grandmother, but what it all boils down to is that she was a woman that loved us all unconditionally and wholeheartedly. She will always be our greatest love and our greatest loss.

To Mary and all the Lefebvre family especially her grandchildren I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Lefebvre your wife Arlene was one of the luckiest women on this earth to have been loved by a gentleman in every sense of the word. You loved her, and your children in a way that is Christ like. She was blessed, and you will miss her whole heartedly, but you can live without regret, because she truly knew God blessed her in this lifetime giving her a man like you to spend most her life on earth with. I have no doubt you will one day be together again, and that will last for eternity.
God Bless you all, and please know you are in my thoughts and prayers you wife, mother, and grandmother will be missed by all of us who knew, and loved her...

We, both Margaret and I enjoyed her company in our many reunions of the Capeshire Campers. She was always cheerful and transmitted that enthusiasm to the group.
To Joe, we know you'll miss her presence, and all we can do is commiserate with you.
Have courage, Lou
