Dear Diane, Michelle and Danielle,
I am deeply saddened on the loss of Michael. Even though he is my cousin by marriage, I always felt that he was one of my very closest cousins. When I was young, I was always welcomed at your house, and I seemed to have spent quite a bit of time there. Michael would always take the time to show me something, be it how to clean and take care of a car, (because if you took care of it, it would last a long time and give back to you, there was never a rust spot on his car because he would have it fixed, and it always shinned and was spotless, no matter how old it was.) I also was very lucky to learn the value of having nice things, he loved his stereo system along with all the vinyl albums, and these also had to be cared for after use, they always had to be gently put back into their protective jackets along with the tissue paper just so. Because I learned to care for things, and I must of proved it to him, I was very lucky to have his trust, and he took me into the back of the cellar and showed me how to respect a firearm. He showed me the proper way to hold it, and to never point it at anyone, but if used properly, it was a sport and not a weapon, but your Mother did not think it was very funny when he had me shooting at a target in the cellar! What I'm gettting at is that your Husband/ Father, was a GREAT influence in my life, along with your Mother,. May he rest in peace, and I will miss him! HE was a Great influence in my life growing up. Love Cathy DeSimone
