I was priviledged to know and admire Alice.
She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. The ladies in the Tai Chi classes, the Historical Society members, fellow gardners, and her friends and neighbors.
A school bus stop is located in front of her house on Arthur Woods Ave. My children have fond memories of her often inviting children into her kitchen in the winter to keep warm while waiting for the school bus.
She was a very special lady.
My sympathy goes out to her family at this sad time.
