Obituary of Julia Viera

Julia Marie (Colandrea) Viera, a resident of Burlington for 54 years, passed away at the Woodbriar of Wilmington Nursing home on Friday afternoon, September 10, 2010. The beloved wife of 60 years of Anthony Viera, she was 78 years old. Julia was born in Cambridge. She was the daughter of the late Cesare and Josephine Colandrea. She was raised and educated in Somerville. Julia worked for many years as a Technician in the Manufacturing Industry. Julia loved cooking, music, singing, and the Opera. She was a loving and caring person who was always looking to help others. She had a wonderful sense of humor. She had many special friendships and was a thoughtful neighbor. Julia was a loving wife, mother, aunt and friend who will be missed by the many lives she touched. Julia was the Beloved wife of 60 years of Anthony Viera of Burlington. She was the loving mother of Donna Viera & her husband William Thurwachter of Sante Fe, NM. She was the sister of Louise Marcotte and Stella Baldwin of FL and the late Louis Peranelli, Rosie Healey, and Vincenza Ellis. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Relatives and friend are invited to attend a Memorial Wake at the Edward V.
