I have so any wonderful memories of my Aunt Anna. She was the heart of our extended family. Anna had a special gift for cheering people up. When I met folks in Ireland who knew her, the first thing they said was: "Now, she's a jolly soul." Even under difficult circumstances, Anna embodied compassion, generosity, and love of life wherever she went.
I am so proud to have such wonderful cousins - Kathleen, Jackie, Jimmy, Bobby, Tishy and MaryEllen - who worked together caring for Aunt Anna during her last illness. When their father, my Uncle John, died the priest reminded them that "brothers and sisters should stick together and help their mother." They carry on the loyalty, good humor, and kindness of their parents.
Dear Cousins, Please accept my heartfelt condolences to each of you and your families on your loss.
