Obituary of Grace Fuller

Grace Jean Fuller passed away after a short illness at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill on Wednesday night November 2, 2010. She was 78 years old. Grace was born in Boston the daughter of the late Louis and Greta Fuller. She grew up in the Fenway section of Boston only blocks from Fenway Park on Queensberry Street. She would often reminisce about listening to the games with her dad on the roof of her apartment house. After high school Grace graduated from the Massachusetts Memorial School of Nursing in Boston. Her nursing career spanned 40 years. She spent much of her profession as the “Charge Nurse” on the surgical floor of the Melrose Wakefield Hospital. She had lived the last three years in Burlington with her dear friends, Mark and Linda Stephan. She had previously resided in Tewksbury for over 35 years. Grace had a number of interests, activities, and charities. She was an avid gardener and took great pride in her flower beds. She was a talented painter and seamstress. She enjoyed to cross stitch and was a magnificent chef. She traveled all over the world. Grace loved animals, especially cats. She always kept a stash of treats in her pocket for the animals she would encounter. Grace had a genuine concern for all creatures great and small. She was extremely generous and kind. She was a “Good Friend” and will always be lovingly remembered. Grace was the daughter of the late Louis & Greta Fuller. She was the loving partner of the late Barbara Westberg. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her, Linda Stephan of Burlington, Maria Rovinelli of Wilmington and their families. A visitation will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt., 128 Woburn side) on Friday, November 5 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Tewksbury. Memorials in Gracie’s name may be made to the charity of one’s own choice.
