Dear Roger,
I was sorry to hear from Gary Sanocki about Kathy going to be with the Lord. You had both been in my thoughts recently. I remember when you moved in downstairs from us at Hallmark Gardens after your honeymoon and I was nervous that Andrea's crying would disturb you. I have many fond memories of the fun we had with Kathy, you, the Sanockis and the other residents of Hallmark Gardens.
I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

I just heard from Hilary.... Too soon, too soon. A loss for which there can be no compensation, for which no words of sympathy are adequate. I lost my own father this past November, so I can empathize to some degree, but this is never the same as losing one's lifelong partner. Be well, Roger.

Kathy was a wonderful person. She was always smiling and very friendly. I graduated with her from BHS in 1972 and especially remember her from our math class with Mr. Pace, where he would often joke with her on just about any subject.
I saw her often in town since our graduation and, of course, many times with Roger, who was also a fellow classmate. I had no idea that she was sick and the news was at once shocking and sad.
My condolences to Roger and all of her family.

Roger, Jason and Molly,
Roger, I am so sorry for your loss of Kathy, and Molly and Jason for the loss of your Mom.
I knew Kathy mostly from having you kids in kindergarten, and I know she was one of the most caring moms when it came to their academics. She was such a great volunteer in the classroom and surely did love being there with the kids. Whenever I met her anywhere around Burlington, I could always count on a smile and a great conversation about her family. She will be missed.

From what I know about Kathy's spirit living next door over the last 20 years, she gave quite it the fight. Kathy and I spent many a mornings when the kids were small and in school talking about everything standing in the driveways. We loved to talk about the drama of the kids growing up. I will miss her smile and funny little laugh.God Bless and Rest in Peace.

Dear Roger and family,
I am so sorry to hear about your families loss. I have been thinking about you and about Kathy these past few days and I want you all to know that even though I was a bit player in the world of renovation with This Old House, Kathy was a sweet memory for me. She was so kind to me on every project wrap party. I had such lovely conversation with her, she was a super woman. I was a nervous shy designer and Kathleen made me feel warm and welcome. She was my cup of tea. Please know you will be held in our prayers.
All our best,

Dear Roger, Jason and Molly, We are devastated to hear of Kathy’s death. It was always so clear from Kathy that you were at the center of her life; Roger her soul mate and Jason and Molly who she always kept close in her heart and loved deeply. Our experience was that she was never more proud than to share news of the family. She was always so wonderful to be with – loving, cheerful and open. We cannot imagine such a loss for you, but hope that the dear memories of Kathy will help you to find some peace. She was a beautiful person to know and we will miss her dearly. Roger, Jason and Molly – please accept our condolences. We will remember Kathy and her kind heart and motherly concern for Jason and Molly ....and Roger too. You are all such good people, and Kathy was a great neighbor over the many years that our families have lived here – never too busy to smile and wave as we passed each other in the neighborhood. Our children, who are now adults, have fond memories of Kathy always being so nice to them, and they remember the great fun they had playing in front of your home with Roger.
