Obituary of Robert Woloski

Robert F. Woloski passed away suddenly at the Newton Wellesley Hospital on Tuesday morning, October 17, 2006, he was 65 years old. Bob was born in Waltham. He was the son of the late Francis and Emily Woloski. He was raised in Newtonville and was a graduate of Newton High School. Bob and his family have resided in Burlington for the past 35 years. Bob was the proud owner for 33 years of Diane Marie Cleaners located on River Street in Waltham. Over those years, he gained many loyal customers and friends. He loved boating and being on the ocean. The boating season was spent on his boat, “The Debbie Sue”, which was a 33 foot Egg Harbor. Bob was a member and past Fleet Captain of the Watertown Yacht Club and was a past member of the Point Independence Yacht Club. He shared his passion for the sea with his children and grandchildren. He taught them how to fish and to dig for clams. He also enjoyed watching drag racing. Bob is the beloved husband of 44 years of Alice A. (Dykers) Woloski. He is the loving father of John Woloski & his wife Carol of Woburn, Paul of CA, Deborah & her husband Steven Barnes of Mashpee, and Susan of Burlington. He is the brother of Karen Lumenti of Hyannis and proud grandfather of Colby & Jenna Barnes, Melissa, Jennifer, Tyler, and Joey Woloski. Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Friday Oct. 20 from 4-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:45 p.m. Interment will be private.
