Obituary of Joan Soave

Joan C. (Fallon) Soave, a resident of Burlington for 46 years, passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center on Thursday, March 3, 2011, she was 75 years old. Joan was born in Watertown. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Fallon. She was raised and educated in Allston. Joan worked for many years as a Hairdresser in Billerica. For the last 15 years she had worked as a Supervisor in the Telecommunications Dept. at Lahey overseeing their Switchboard Dept. Joan loved to travel and had travelled extensively throughout out the world taking many cruises and visiting such places as Iceland and Puerto Rico. She enjoyed shopping, dining out and being with her family and many friends. Joan was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Joan is the beloved mother of Christine Thompson & her husband Michael of Burlington and the late Anthony Soave. She was the sister of Edward Fallon and the late Mary “Dolly” Crossett and Robert and John Fallon. Grandmother of Jason, Dylan and Ginelle Thompson. Former wife of the late Harry Soave. Beloved aunt of Roy Crossett of Philadelphia. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Monday, March 7 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday 3-6 p.m. Interment Private.
