Obituary of Richard Pellerin
Richard A. Pellerin, a retired employee of General Electric passed away suddenly at his home in Epsom, NH on Tuesday night, April 5, 2011. He was 84 years old.
Richard was born in Waltham, Massachusetts. His parents, Alfred and Elizabeth Richard) Pellerin, chose to return their homeland, New Brunswick, Canada to raise their family. Richard grew up and was educated in Rogersville, New Brunswick, Canada. He even served in the Canadian military during WW II. After being discharged from the military, he chose to return to Waltham, Massachusetts which had better employment opportunities. He made his home in Alston for many years. He had retired from General Electric where he worked as a welder in their Everett aircraft engine manufacturing location. In his retirement years, he had resided in Littleton, Maine for 15 years prior to making his home in Epsom.
Richard was the husband of the late Lillian (Bainbridge). He was the father of Marygail Streeter of Woburn, Louella Wilson & her husband Jon of Tacoma, WA, Carol Flathers & her husband James of Plaistow, NH, Cheryl Kurtz & her husband Ronald of Burlington, and Louise of Milton. Brother of Viola Arsenault of Canada and the late Alfred. Dear friend of Shirley Perkins of Epsom, NH. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., BURLINGTON on Friday, April 8 at 10 a.m. Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Boston. Arrangements under the direction of the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON. Memorials in Richard’s name may be made to the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecelia, 801 Dominican Drive, Nashville, TN 37228-1909.
