Obituary of Edward Stafford

Edward “Eddie” G. Stafford passed away at his home Friday morning, May 6, 2011. He was 30 years old. He was born in Wilmington, but had spent most of his life living in Woburn. He attended the Woburn Schools. When he was young he enjoyed playing baseball and soccer. In his later years he enjoyed playing golf. He enjoyed weight lifting. He had a great appreciation for music. He loved to cook and always dreamed of being a chef. He was quite talented working on automotive electronics. He was working at Siegel Eggs in Billerica. He had a kind heart and loved his family. He was proud of his sisters and adored all his nieces and nephews. His loss leaves an empty space in the hearts of all his family and friends. Eddie was the loving son of Josephine & David Benson of Woburn. He was the brother of Jennifer Doherty & her husband Derek of Woburn, Elizabeth Black & her husband Robbie of Woburn, Christina Stafford of Bedford, Jason Benson & his wife Amanda of Billerica, and Ian Benson & his wife Amy of Billerica. He was the adoring uncle of Jeffrey Stafford, Austin, Maxwell, Victoria, Owen, & Jared Benson, Felicia, Analea, Mateo, & Gabriella Doan, Lex & Stephanie Doherty, and Nicolas Black. He was predeceased by his grandparents; Felice & Lucille Grossi, Donald & Margaret Stafford, Joan & Harry Benson. He also leaves his wonderful Uncles and Aunts. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Tuesday, May 10 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony’s Church, 851 Main St., Woburn at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
