Obituary of Andrew Hiscock
Andrew Hiscock, a resident of Burlington since 1972, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, May 13, 2011, he was 77 years old.
Andrew was the son of the late Andrew and Georgina Hiscock. He was raised and educated in Revere. Andrew was a veteran of the Korean War serving his country in the United States Arm. He lived for a period of time in Malden and settled in Burlington in 1972. Andrew had a career as a carpenter working for Local Union #67 in Boston. Andrew loved music most especially gospel and country western. He enjoyed going to the dog races. Andrew’s life was all about his family. He enjoyed visits with his mother and sisters. Andrew worked with his Dad and his brother George in the Union. He was devoted to his grandchildren and would meet his two granddaughters daily as they came off the bus and share a cup of tea with them.
Andrew was the husband of Myrtilla (D’Oliveira). He was the loving father of Tanya Elliott & her husband Kenneth of Billerica, Cynthia Saudarg & her husband Charles of Atlanta, GA, and Andrea Hiscock of Tewksbury. Brother of Phyllis Watson of Malden, Harry Hiscock of Nashua, NH, the late Elizabeth Doke, George, Mildred & Helen Hiscock. Grandfather of Renee & Christina Elliott and Michael & C.J. Saudarg.
Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Thursday, May 19 at 10 a.m. Followed by Graveside Services at Pine Haven Cemetery, Bedford St, Burlington at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8 p.m.
