Obituary of Frank Petitto

Frank V. Petitto, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday afternoon, September 29, 2012, at the age of 63. Frank was born in Avellino, Italy. He was a graduate of Dorchester High School and the Vesper George School of Art. He had made his home in Burlington for the past 36 years. Frank had a wide variety of interests. He had an artistic side to him. He was a talented painter. He took great pride in his home. He was a talented chef and loved to cook for family and friends. He was a big Boston sports fan, with the Patriots being his favorite team. He enjoyed family vacations on Cape Cod. Frank was the beloved husband of 38 years of Phyllis (Venezia) Petitto. He was the proud father of Mark of Burlington & his fiancée Kristi Regitano of Peabody and Victoria Fitzpatrick & her husband Peter of Tewksbury. He was the son of Guiseppe of Roslindale and the late Ernestina and the brother of Lina Petitto of Roslindale. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington.
