Obituary of George Morgan

George C. Morgan, Jr., a longtime resident of Burlington, passed away unexpectedly at his home, after spending a wonderful day with his family at a July 4th Celebration. The husband of Jane (Willwerth) he was 76 years old. George was born in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was the son of the late George and Eva Morgan. He was raised and educated in Woburn. During High School George excelled in athletics. He was Student Athlete of The Year for his 1953 Woburn High School graduating class. George played semi-pro Baseball playing Triple AAA Baseball for the Braves. George continued his love of all sports playing softball and as well as golf. He had a successful career as a Distributor for Snack Food Distribution. He was the owner of Associated Entrepreneur, Inc. “A.E.I.” a Snack Food Distributor in Woburn for over 10 years. George and his wife Jane settled in Burlington in 1965 where they raised their three children. George and Jane had a large garden in their home that they worked on together growing both vegetables and flowers. George was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed. George is the beloved husband of Jane (Willwerth). Loving father of Elena Roy & her husband Tom of North Reading, Michelle Maisano of Stoneham, and Wayne & his wife Karen of Burlington. Brother of Jeanne Wellman of FL and the late Richard F. Morgan. Brother-in-law Frank Willwerth & his wife Pam of Arlington Joyce Willwerth of Hudson and the late Paul Willwerth. Grandfather of Krista & Dana Roy, Gina, Joseph & Carli Maisano, and Tayla, Victoria, Joseph & Isabella Morgan. Funeral Services will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Friday, July 8 at 12 Noon. Visiting hours Thursday 5-8 p.m.
