Obituary of Donald Finn

Donald M. Finn, passed away at the Wilmington Health Care Center, on Saturday, October 6, 2012. He was 77 years old. Donald was born in Malden. He was raised in Medford and was a graduate of St. John’s in North Cambridge. Donald was retired from the Massachusetts National Guard Army Engineers Reserves. He was very proud of his 23 years of service in the Reserves. Donald worked as a Store Manager at Farm Stand Grocery Store in Framingham and also worked at Shaws Supermarket in Ashland. He enjoyed going to dinner with family and friends. Donald was a big Atlanta Braves fan and enjoyed following Boston College Football. Donald was the beloved father of Carolyn Lyons & her husband John of Uxbridge and Eric Finn of Framingham. Donald was the brother of Sister Paula Marie Finn of Brighton, Paul Finn & his wife Rita of Mashpee and the late Joseph Finn. Grandfather of Evan Lyons and Kevin Maher. Donald was the good friend of Judy McGinn of Stoneham. Donald was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Wednesday Oct. 10 at 8:45 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church, 9 Pomeworth St., Stoneham, MA at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
