Obituary of Anna Magliozzi

Anna Magliozzi, a retired administrative assistant, passed away on her 85th birthday. Anna was born in Gaeta, Italy, the daughter of the late Ambrosio and Maria Abbondante. Her family immigrated to the United States and settled in Somerville. She was a graduate of Somerville High School. She married her husband, Anthony, and they moved to Burlington to raise her 2 sons. She was a homemaker when her sons were in school and then worked for Xerox in Waltham for 15 years as an administrative assistant. Anna’s life revolved around her family. She loved to entertain family and friends. She was a wonderful cook, and her home was always filled with the aromas of her Italian cooking. She relished in the time spent with family and friends at her summer home in Hyannis. She enjoyed time on the beach. She was extremely close to her siblings and her many nieces and nephews. She was a devoted wife to her husband Anthony for 61 years. She was a supportive and understanding mother. She was extremely proud of her grandson and all his accomplishments. Anna was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Magliozzi. She was the loving mother of David Magliozzi & his wife Rose and Steven Magliozzi all of Burlington. She was the loving grandmother of Christopher of Burlington. She was the sister of Lea Dovidio of Arlington, Rose Eromin of Arlington, Ruth Gray of Burlington, the late Cosmo Abbondante and Laura Romano. Funeral services will be private.
