Obituary of John Cronin

John J. “Jack” Cronin, a lifelong resident of Burlington, passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, on Monday evening, August 1, 2011. The devoted husband of Cheryl (Yeomans) he would have celebrated his 61 birthday on August 9. Jack was born in Dorchester. He was the son of the late John and Kathleen Cronin. He was raised and educated in Burlington and was a 1968 graduate of Burlington High School. Jack had a successful career as a Truck Driver in the Construction industry. For the past 15 years he had owned his own company Stagecoachtrading. Jack enjoyed race cars, motor cycles and trucks. He was a member of the American Legion in Burlington where he had many loyal friends and they were like his second family. Jack was the devoted husband of Cheryl (Yeomans) of Burlington & St. Johns, AZ. Loving father of John Jason Cronin & his wife Nadia of Tucson, AZ and Matthew Cronin of St. Johns, AZ. He was the brother of David Cronin, Paul Cronin & his wife Allyson, Colleen Lundgren & her husband William, Kasey Cronin all of Burlington and Maureen Bourquet & her husband Brian of East Bridgewater. A Memorial Service will be held at the American Legion, 162 Winn St., Burlington on Friday evening, August 5 at 7 p.m. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend.
