Obituary of Lucille Crans Wood

 Lucille Crans Wood, 73, of Lynnfield, MA & East Wakefield, NH lost her long battle with breast cancer on October 29th, 2018.

Luci is survived by her husband and very best friend, Ernest M. Wood, her son, Alan Mackey of Wellesley, her brother, Richard W. Crans of Milford, CT, and her step sister, Barbara Michel, of Berkeley, CA.   She was the daughter of the late Lucy Boyle Crans and Richard Walter Crans, Sr.  She also leaves her nephew, Richard A. Crans, of Madison, CT, her niece, Heather Crans Vargas, of Culver City, CA and her God Daughter Jaci Castonguay, of Mansfield. Luci was born and raised in Norwalk, CT and attended the University of Connecticut.  She moved to Boston in 1967, was a surgical technician for several years and worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts for 31 years. 

Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128/Woburn side) on Thursday, Nov. 1 from 4-8 p.m.  Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend.  Funeral Services and Burial will be private.  Memorials in Luci's name may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation www.bcrf.org,  MJD Ataxia www.ataxiamjd.org, and the Northeast Animal Shelter northeastanimalshelter.org
