I considered George to be my dear friend. I held a high respect for George having worked with him on many occasions due to the relationship of finance and Employee Benefits at M/A-Com. On many occasion we worked together on acquisitions and divestitures and managed to maintain excellent working relationships. I will always remember George as a dear friend and my heart and blessings go out to Ruth, the love of his life. Sincerely Patricia Finnerty

Dear family, I was so sorry to hear today of George's passing. I had the pleasure of meeting George several years ago when I joined a golf practice league in Billerica. We golfed together weekly in a four-some and socially for several years later. As I was a newer golfer in the practice league, George quickly became my "golf Dad", encouraging me as we went along, saying: "don't worry, we're gonna have some fun soon!". And we did. That was George. Always a gentleman, funny, and full of love for his family, George often bragged about his daughters and grandchildren. I know he will be missed and wish you all peace and comfort in the days and weeks ahead. Louise Plesha

Such a loss to our community. George was always a gentleman and had a quiet but witty sense of humor. He was loved by all. I had pleasure of being one of his nurses.
