All through HS , I can remember the Name Phyllis Turnguist. You always stood out as a caring person and a friend to all. Although I never got to know you that well during HS, I felt like I did as you were always at the sports games and very involved with our class. I’m thankful that we were all able to connect at our reunion. Peace in heaven, RIP

Phyllis was loved by everyone who met her. She was a devoted caretaker all her life for those she loved. She was a devoted friend to all she met. God had another plan for her, but for those of us who are left behind, we only know she left too soon. Our recent memories include our 50th class reunion last November at Burlington High School. Phyllis had a wonderful time reconnecting with old friends. God Bless you, Phyllis. We will miss your beautiful spirit! Rest in peace, our dear friend.

I got the pleasure to meet Phyllis’s daughter Lisa so then I got to meet her mother Phyllis. She took me in like her own daughter. She sure was a funny and always smiling women. I will miss her dearly. RIP Phyllis

I’m so sad today. You were my first girlfriend, my junior prom date. You made me feel alive in that way that teenage girls do to the boys. I remember your mother, smiling from the steps of your house in approval of us, as I helped you into my car with your big, beautiful gown on prom night. I remember riding the roller coaster with you at Canobie Lake Park, your fright palpable as you let me pull you close. You never knew what a gift you gave me that night. Then...we left to do our lives and 50 years later here we are at our 50th reunion hugging, dancing and sharing our life stories. What joy and pleasure! And in the following days sitting quietly to talk, belting out karaoke renditions of our high school music in your living room. I think we were fantastic with “ Littke Red Riding Hood”!, going to dinner and letting our hands meet, not in romance but in the shear joy of old friendship. Another gift given by you. The news of your passing deeply saddened me but this much is true. Every time I think of you the rest of my life I’ll smile. Thank you Phyllis

Phyllis was loved by her friends and classmates in the BHS Class of 1967. She worked hard for our class and we will never forget how much she cared about all of us. Her smile radiated the room when she walked in. She cherished her friendships and was a dedicated and loving friend to all. She was a dedicated caretaker to those she loved throughout her life. She will be missed so much by all who knew her. Rest in peace my friend! God Bless you.

Phyllis was a wonderful person. I will miss her noon stretches, rather dancing moves, every afternoon at work. A great friend both in and out of work... always had sewing tips for me, and a good word about everyone... I will miss her greatly.
