I was an employee of GenRad when it was still known as General Radio. I was a Group Leader when I met Fred. He was my greatest mentor, teaching me so much while I was there. He was truly a wonderful man, always with a smile when you saw him. I was truly blessed to know him. I am sorry for your loss, Garside Family. I pray he is with God & our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ!

Shirley and family There are no words to express how I feel about Freds passing I have been friends with you two for so long I feel like I am part of the family. We have been through it all . I know Fred is in Heaven with Tim and his family if anyone deserves to go it is most definitely Fred, I loved him so much and have so many good memories that's what I am going to hold on to. Lynnie, Donnie, Mrs Garside, and family...So sorry for this tremendous loss, so many fond memories growing up in such a loving, caring, funny neighborhood was priceless and having Mr (Dr) Garside being so much a part of that was a wonderful influence on my life, he made us all smile extra. Oh Shirley, So sad Dear Fred's time has come. I will remember him fondly. I remember you two walking in a swift stroll around the block, an apple or peach in his hand. Talking about the news of the neighborhood or of his many grandchildren doing amazing things. I enjoyed our chats. As his health changed you were still by his side showing me how true vows are carried out. "In sickness and in health." As he became less mobile I missed seeing you both out and about but you were often on my mind. God bless you and your family.
