To Mike's family. He was a great teacher and asst. principal. We had many laughs while I was on the school committee and after. He was person that the students respected even when they were being difficult. He helped them. I remember how he helped many students who couldn't afford to pay for the prom tickets. Caring for his students was important to him. Rest in peace now, Mike. You will be missed.

I taught with Mike from 1983 on. Not sure when he retired, I did in 2005. He had a great skewed sense of humor, always irreverent, but not mean spirited. We played many rounds of golf together. He and John Nolan (RIP) took me out for my first round. We laughed a lot together. They even took me to the Golden Banana in Revere. So sad to hear the news. Goodbye my Friend. I reside in Fl now, otherwise I would attend.

Mr. Pace was a phenomenal Algebra II teacher during my Junior year at BHS (‘74-‘75). I was a new transfer student that year and he warmly welcomed me. He had a wonderfully entertaining way of conveying the content. When I returned as a teacher in 1980, he made the transition seamless for me. He will be greatly missed.

I was saddened to learn of Mike's passing yesterday. He was a long time friend and colleague at Burlington High School. His skills as a math teacher were enhanced by his sense of humor and love and support of his students. My sincerest condolences to his family at this sad time. He will be greatly missed by many. Ed Doyle, Foreign Language Teacher and Dept. Head Burlington High School.
