We hadn’t known Ed when he was a teacher of Industrial Arts. Nor did we realize the extent of his service to our country - though we are grateful. For the past twenty years we have known Ed as our quiet and kind next-door neighbor. During the week, we would greet Ed quickly as we scurried to and from work. On the weekends, we sometimes had the opportunity to chat with Ed in between bouts of yard work. True to the quiet kindness described in his obituary, Ed thoughtfully shared with us many helpful yard work tips over the years. Every Thursday, we’d come home from work to find our barrels had been pulled in from the road, knowing it was Ed being nice to us. Dear friend and steadfast neighbor, we wish you peace for all eternity. Nancy, our hearts, prayers and condolences are with you and your family. Please let us know if we can help you with anything.
