Obituary of Phyllis DeAntonis
Phyllis (LaVache) DeAntonis, of Burlington, passed away on Wednesday morning, January 16. She was 92 years of age. Born in Arlington, she was the daughter of the late Francis D., and the late Yvonne L. (Carbonneau) LaVache.
Phyllis was raised and educated in Cambridge. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who worked hard to provide for her family. Phyllis was especially devoted to her late daughter Diane, who needed special care throughout her life.
Phyllis was a volunteer with the Special Olympics. She enjoyed music, and she loved to sing. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time at home with her family.
Phyllis is survived by two sons and two daughters, Anthony J. DeAntonis, Jr. of Westford, Donna M. Weeks of Westford, Debra A. McQueary and her husband Gerard of New York, and David F. DeAntonis and his wife Rene of Burlington; and she was preceded in death by one daughter, the late Diane R. DeAntonis. Phyllis is also survived by one brother, Richard LaVache of Maine, fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Phyllis is predeceased by her brothers and sister the late Francis and Ronald LaVache, and sister, Winifred O’Brien.
