Obituary of Lillian C Renzella

Lillian C. Renzella, a woman who loved her family and her home passed away peacefully with her children at her bedside on Tuesday afternoon, February 26, 2019.  She was 95 years old.  Lillian was one of six children born to Michael and Florence Sarnie.  She grew up in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School.  She married her husband, Joseph Renzella on June 27, 1943 and they made their home in Malden and East Boston before settling in Burlington in 1957.  Joseph owned Cambridge Rug Company.  It being a small family business, Lillian assisted him in the office and numerous other roles Joe needed assistance in. She would later work at Esposito’s Bakery in Saugus alongside her sister Marie.  For Lillian, her real career was that of homemaker.  She made a loving and caring home for her husband and children.  She loved maintaining her home, decorating, and entertaining family and friends.  She was a fantastic cook and baker and she showed her love and warmth through food.  Her home was always filled with savory aromas emanating from her kitchen.  Sunday dinners, holidays, and family celebrations were very important to her.  Because of her longevity, she was blessed to see her family grow with 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.  Lillian’s greatest legacy was her family.

Lillian was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Renzella.   Loving mother of Marianne Dow & her husband George of Billerica, Joanne Renzella-Eckberg of Tewksbury, Joseph A.
