We were so sorry to learn today of your mothers passing. I have been sick the past two weeks and have only popped in to drop my moms laundry so did not realize Norma was not around. We asked staff today and were given the sad news. My mom was lucky to have Norma as a best friend these past few years and we are happy to have gotten to know her while she was still a bit feisty and yet such a classy lady. Our deepest condolences to all of you

Well Ma, I hope we did a good job with all this and you are where you are supposed to be with Dad, family and friends. I’ve missed you for so long since Altzhiemers took part of your memory. I believe you will get it back now and remember how loved you are. I love you so much and only hope I can find a woman like Dad did to spend my years with. Half of who you are would be good to. :)

Norma was a blessing to all who knew her. She had a very kind spirit, was very soft spoken, and always had a smile on her face. She would brighten anyone's day with her laugh. Both her and her Husband Carl would always welcome you to their home. I remember the times in the 70s when we would all play street hockey in front of their home. While waiting for Steve, Rob, or Rick to bring out the nets, Norma and Carl would invite me in and simply ask how I was and/or how my Girlfriend Jean and/or how Mom or Dad were doing. They always topped it off by asking if I'd like something to eat. Both were caring, loving, and just very nice people. We, the Perry's, offer our deepest condolences to the family and friends of as they go through this difficult time. Norma was truly loved. Thankfully, this is just a mere separation until we're all reunited under the loving arms of God.

Im so so very sorry for the lost of your Mom.
She was one special lady with a world of talent. This woman as her neice Susan said made a mark in my life those are special people taking time for others sincerely a world gone by.
Her family was her all that is all she needed to be taking care of her kids one way or another.
As mothers I often wonder if we have control of that. We bring them into the world and just want them okay. Thats all Norma wanted a true Mother.
She is at peace now in a better place her husband Carl and her Brothers Vincent and Joe are being there escorting a truly wonderful person through the Golden Gates theres no question about that.
I send my love to you all here on Earth remember your Mom in your heart. Remembet her love and patience.
We can only pray to be half the woman you all were blessed.

Hello to my extended family. So sorry to hear about mom. Norma will always be in our hearts. So many things I will always remember about our neighborhood . Street hockey games, indian rubber baseball games in the middle of the street never thinking about breaking any windows! Playing Rolivio and running thru everybody's yard and no one ever cared. One of the big things.. if we were playing any of these games on a Sunday, some family would get Chinese food and it had to be kept a secret so no other family thought you had money! LOL! I remember my dad always whistling to come for dinner and yelling back what's for dinner and him yelling back JUST GET IN HERE! All the times coming home to see my aunt Lucy , Norma ,Barbara, Elanor and my mom making ravioli and every possible flat surface in the house covered with ravioli. The time my dad got a new round pool and Karen and I got the mumps what the frig ! Tish coming over in Bees pink one piece bathing suit. Card games at my house on Friday nights and trying to stay awake for Carl and Tony to get there they would have pizza from Castraberti's because they worked there part time. Don't forget the bushells of steamers at the pool, they would pay 10 bucks for. All of us dreading the first Saturday in August we had to go to my aunts saints feast, church in a back yard . Who can forget Warren Fellers rinks just waiting to see the flood lights come on and rushing down there to be the first on the fresh ice. Chickie taking a full slap shot and breaking the upstairs window, SORRY! Don't forget the Castellano's, Reale's ,Hoovers and the Perry's. One last thought the times Peggy and I would rent a car big enough to fit my mom Norma and all there shit to go to Foxwoods for a relaxing time but NOT the time it took 3 hours to check in because the bar in the bathroom was on wrong side! really! Thinking I will never do this again but not being able to say NO! Well I'm done I could go on for ever so many great memories. One last note remember when the Lamarca's told us they were moving! Then it was 3 doors down. Thanks for all the great times Norma & Carl and long lasting friends, love you all. GOD BLESS!

My heart is broken for everyone who had the blessing to have Norma in their lives, and know the world has lost one more of the most beautiful, incredible generation. I have so many wonderful memories of Norma and Carl visiting my parents, Mike & Irma, and of visiting Norma & Carl's. I learned many lovely things from Norma, especially how to be a lovely person, which I try to do. One day my best friend and I were skipping school - we only did that twice - but this one time we thought we would walk to the Burlington Mall! Norma happened past and stopped; and rather than scolding or bringing us back, she took us to the mall! Sooo lovely! And, though I wasn't there, who doesn't think of the bat story in Mike & Irma's kitchen to this day, and crack up laughing. Ask Lisa - or was it Anita - who was there that day? I love you all, and know we can't mitigate the hurt, but we also have the blessings of so much love and happiness to hold us. I was very lucky to have your Mom, Grandmom, GreatGrandmom in my life. Much Love, - Cousin Nanette
