I am so sorry for the loss of John. I have known him all my life. The Mongero family and the John and MaryLyons Kuchenmeister families have been friends since highschool or before in Yorktown. I adored John and Harriet and being much younger than them I hoped I would grow to be as beautiful as Harriet and be lucky enough to have a handsome husband like John . Thoughts and prayers are with the family. Lea Lyons Ballard

I also met John in 1959, when I joined the Yorktown Sportsmen's Club. John loved trap shooting, hunting, fishing and working on club projects. He was the last living charter member of the club that was formed over sixty years ago, I am proud to have worked on many club projects with John.
His name will be inscribed on the clubs memorial stone at the club owned property on Morton hill road, Roscoe New York, with all the clubs former deceased members.
John you may not be with us any more, but you will never be forgotten.

I am very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. One encouraging thought you might find comforting is found at John 5:28, 29. “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” God gives us this beautiful hope that he will soon resurrect our dead loved ones and we can see them again on a paradise earth! I hope this promise brings you comfort as it does me.
