Obituary of Cathlene M Barthuly

Cathlene M. Barthuly passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday afternoon, May 28, 2019.  She was 69 years old.  Cathy was born in Boston and was the daughter of Kenneth and Jennie Barthuly.  She had a wonderful childhood growing up in South Boston, graduating from South Boston High School. Thereafter, she had worked as a bookkeeper for the EPA, until retirement. For the last 8 years she lived in Burlington.  In her leisure time she enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She enjoyed being

home, working on her crosswords and word finds, keeping up on her favorite television shows, and caring for her beloved dogs, Katy and Erika.  In her younger years she enjoyed traveling with Europe being one of her most favorite destinations. Cathlene was the sister of Peter Barthuly of Gloucester, sister in law of Jeanne Barthuly (also of Gloucester), and sister to Lawrence Barthuly of Colorado. She was the loving aunt of Valerie Carrier of Londonderry, NH, Christopher Barthuly of Pepperell, April Roy of Avon, Connecticut, Austin Barthuly of Tewksbury.  She was the great aunt of Logan Barry.

A visitation will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from Noon to 1 p.m. and will conclude with a funeral service at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
