My family grew up in Worcester, MA next door to Sotirios's parents: better people could not be found. When my mother died in 1984, Sotirios flew up from North Carolina to attend the funeral. Areti was always gracious and welcoming over the years. Sotirios and his parents knew my parents for decades. Once someone leaves us, all we have are memories. I will treasure them.
