Obituary of Patricia A Tripi
Patricia A. (Watts) Tripi passed away at the Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln on Thursday, June 13th, following a courageous battle with cancer. The beloved wife of Jack L. Tripi, she was 80 years old.
Patricia was born in London England. She was the daughter of the late Cecile Watts & Mary Jessup. In 1954 Patricia came to the United States. She would meet Jack L. Tripi and they married in 1967. They lived in Acton, Lexington and Concord before eventually moving to Woburn. Patricia and Jack were blessed to have a wonderful son Joshua who brought much joy to their lives.
Patricia worked as a Special Education Teacher. She worked at Case Collaborative Care in Concord for over 15 years. Being a teacher was the perfect role for Patricia. She understood that every student was unique. She was a wonderful mentor, coach and champion for all her students.
Patricia was a woman with many interests and hobbies. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and knitting. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed making meals for her family. She would exercise at least three times a week and enjoyed her daily walks with her dog Bella. Patricia was also a devout Catholic and a member of St. Margaret’s Church in Burlington where she would attend the 4:30 Mass every Saturday. Patricia maintained a close relationship with her family back in England. She and Jack enjoyed taking many trips to her homeland to visit her family. Patricia was a wonderful aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
Patricia will be remembered for her kind and beautiful spirit. A woman who generated warmth and love to everyone she met.
Patricia was the beloved wife of Jack L. Tripi Loving mother of Joshua Tripi of Woburn. Loving sister of Jean Nunn & her late husband George of Kingston on Thames, England, Barbara Billington and Christine Martin both of Worcester Park, England. Sister-in-law of Stephen & Mary Tripi of Lexington and Joseph & Robin Tripi of Andover. Patricia is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128/95 Woburn side) on Tuesday, June 18 from 4-8 p.m. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington on Wednesday, June 19 at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
