Obituary of Anna DiMinico
Anna DiMinico passed away at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford on Thursday morning, September 26, 2019, she would have celebrated her 95th Birthday on October 31.
Anna was born in Boston. She was raised and educated in Somerville. She was the daughter of the late Domenic and Mary Agostino. Anna worked as a Nurse at Somerville Hospital for many years. She lived in Somerville most of her life where she raised her son Anthony and in 2004 she moved to Woburn.
Anna led a very full and active life. She was a devout catholic and her faith was very important to her. She was a talented artist and enjoyed sketching and drawing. Anna was very close to her only grandchild Jennifer. She played an important part in her life. Anna showed Jennifer how to cook and sew. As Anna’s health began to decline Jennifer was there to help take care of her grandmother just like her grandmother was there to help take care of her as a young child. Anna will be remembered as a happy and outgoing woman who was always there for her family.
Anna was the beloved mother of the late Anthony DiMinico. She was the devoted and proud grandmother of Jennifer Mason & her husband Brad of Billerica. Great grandmother Shelby & Griffin. Sister of Susan Strazzere of Woburn, Jenny Palange of Millis and the late Nicholas Agostino. Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt., 128/95 Woburn side) on Saturday, October 5 from Noon – 1:30 p.m. Concluding with Funeral Services at 1:30 p.m. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend.
