Dear Mr. Valchuis; Dear Dawn, I'm really sorry to hear of your loss. My mother emailed me a few days ago to tell me the news. She and I, and Jon were certainly shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. Some of my earliest memories are of being at the Valchuis house playing with Dawn and being around your family (and playing dodge ball on the street). I fairly clearly recall the day when Dawn and I were running around (I think it was a white Mustang?) the family car in the driveway when i ran head-first into your wall (i can admit I was not the brightest child on the block). Of course, it was Mrs. Valchuis who picked me up in her arms - and carried me back home. There are so many memories back on Canterbury Road and certainly a lot of Mrs. Valchuis and your family. She will be missed! Our family will keep yours in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult of times. Chris
