I was so lucky to have Fran as my neighbor in Derry. She had incredible spunk and energy; one of the kindest, friendliest people I have ever met. I will miss her greatly and feel so lucky to have had such a wonderful friend in my life. Miss you Fran.

Auntie I could write a million words and never be able to express how much you meant to me. Thank you for being a mom when my mom left this world. Thank you for being Nana to my 3 children. The memories of our life together will live on forever. Our travels to Italy and Paris were an amazing journey with you, Josie, and the kids. My favorite memory is singing Arrivadeche Roma, as we left Rome in the cab. Even the cab driver sang. Finding our long lost relatives in Naples, and seeing Uncle Francesco was amazing, he looked exactly like Pa, (your father). When they saw you & Steve they shut the little town of Aveleno and took you around to see where your father grew up. Relatives cried at the site of you, you looked exactly like their beloved Aunt. They came to our hotel in Sorento, we were called down by the front desk, your family is here. We were shocked, there were at least 30 people that traveled to meet us. In Venice in San Marco the capachino and beautiful orchestra music was spectacular, the gondola was mystical. You were the pied piper of Derry everyone would come to see you and loved your company. Our children are blessed to have had you in their life. ”

Fran was the mother-in-law that I never had. She was always Nana Fran to my children and treated them the same as her grandchildren. I always enjoyed her visits to Canada and the time her and Joe came to Kilington, Vermont to watch all the grandchildren ski. Fran will be truly missed by all that knew her. ❤️❤️

Fran I loved you like a Mother, you always said I was the daughter that you never had. I will miss you and the void in my life without you. You were the best Mother and grandmother anybody could ask for, shopping all year round for the grandchildren. You will be missed. Love you forever xoxoxo
