Obituary of Eva Marisol Rodrigues
Eva Marisol Rodrigues passed away at Children’s Hospital in Boston on Tuesday morning, December 31, 2019 at the age of 8 years. Though she didn’t live many years on earth, she deeply touched the hearts of those who knew and cared for her. Being born with a genetic disorder, she was God’s little angel. She will be remembered for her sweet innocence, laugh and smile; how little things like music, Christmas lights and watching her sisters play made her so happy. She had just celebrated her 8th birthday 2 weeks ago by going to the cinema to see her favorite movie, “Frozen”. She attended the Early Childhood Center in Burlington, the Early Childhood Center in North Andover, and was currently in Second Grade at the Annie L. Sargant School in North Andover. Her goodness and charming personality entered the hearts of all her family, care givers, teachers and classmates.
Eva was the beloved daughter of Courtney (Faulkner) Thornton and Marlucio Rodrigues. She was the stepdaughter of Adam Thornton. She was the big sister to Adalyn and Isla. She was the precious granddaughter of Tracey Faulkner, James Faulkner, and Ronald Thornton. She was the special niece to Adam Faulkner, Amanda Thornton, and Alexis Thornton. Eva was also survived by her grandparents and extended family living in Brazil.
Family and friends can pay their respects during a visitation at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., Burlington (exit 34 off Rt. 128/95, Woburn side) on Thursday, January 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. The family will have a private graveside service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Eva’s memory may be made to The Every Child Fund, Care of Boston Children’s Hospital Trust, 401 Park Drive, Suite 602, Boston, MA 02215 or by visiting http://giving.childrenshospital.org/the-every-child-fund/
