I was John's secretary many years ago at Capeway Tours. I truly adored and respected both John and Mary Lou, who I got to know while I was working for John. I was fortunate to have been invited to their home for one of their many festive occasions filled with love, laughter and Irish singing! Sometimes life gets in the way, and I'm saddened to have lost touch for so many years and never able to reconnect, which I would so have loved to do before their respective passings. Never wait to tell the people you care about how you feel about them. I cherish the memories (and some gifts presented to me by John, clearly purchased by Mary Lou!) I hope John and Mary Lou's family will be able to receive this message to know how much John and Mary Lou meant to many-- even someone remotely connected like me. Rest in the sweetest peace John and Mary Lou.

I will miss Mary Lou, but I know she is resting in peace.....she and I shared an enjoyable relationship, not only as sisters-in-law, but as good friends for SEVENTY years. She was gifted with her wonderful family, who loved and adored her, took care of her every need and added enjoyment to her every day. God bless you one and all. lovingly, Anne Tessier
