Obituary of Maureen L. Berlandi

Maureen L. (Pooler) Berlandi of Woburn passed away at the Pine Knoll Nursing Home in Lexington on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 she was 81 years old. Maureen was born in Winchester. She was a lifelong resident of Woburn. Maureen worked hard to provide for her family and was always juggling 3 jobs at once. She worked as a Personal Care Assistant at several nursing homes in the area, which was a perfect job for her. Maureen had a big heart and always wanted to help those in need. She loved her family and her grandchildren. When they visited her she always made sure they had a full meal with her specialty being her pasta and homemade gravy. Maureen will be remembered for her love of family and her caring nature. Maureen was the wife of the late John A. Berlandi. She was the loving mother of John & Elaine of Townsend, Donald & Kim of Townsend, Michael of Woburn, Anthony of Woburn and the late Jeanne. She was the sister of Anne Priante of FL, Margaret Brown, Dorothy Walker of Stoneham and Wayne Pooler of Billerica. Maureen is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128/95 Woburn side) on Thursday, January 9 from 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm Burial and Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials in Maureen’s name may be made to Alzheimer’s Association Massachusetts Chapter, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452
